Legislative & Policy Subcommittee Meeting
Join the Legislative & Policy Subcommittee, a subcommittee of the Macon- Bibb County Democrats, for their monthly meeting.
The mission of the subcommittee is to be informed about issues of importance effecting the citizens of Bibb County, research relevant information as it relates to the issues, formulate a position on the issue and inform the people in the committee, and create an advocacy plan to influence policy on a local, state, and national level through regular communication.
In this meeting, we take member feedback on the platform and make it ready for final presentation.

Voter Protection Phone Bank: Stop the Purge!
Georgia is planning a massive voter purge on August 30th, and thousands of Macon-Bibb residents could lose their right to vote if they don’t act now. We can’t let our friends, family, and neighbors be silenced.
What We’ll Do: Join us for a phone bank where we’ll: • Call voters in Macon-Bibb at risk of being purged. • Provide tools to check their registration status. • Connect them with resources to protect their vote.

Post Seat Holder Retreat hosted by the Macon-Bibb Democratic Party! We ask all Post Seat Holders of the Macon-Democratic Party to join us for a powerful morning of community, vision-setting, training, and organizing.

Events Subcommittee Packing Party
Join the Events Subcommittee, a subcommittee of the Macon- Bibb County Democrats, for this special meeting.
"The events subcommittee shall be responsible for organizing and planning the logistics of the County Committee's events. This includes social gatherings, fundraisers, and town halls. The Events Subcommittee shall be recommended events by the Executive Board and work with the other respective committees to plan the event. The Events Subcommittee must present a budget to the Chair and Treasurer prior to the event for approval via the Check Request Form."
In this meeting, we will be packing goodie bags for an upcoming back to school event where we are tabling.
Comms Subcommittee Meeting
Join the Comms Subcommittee, a subcommittee of the Macon-Bibb County Democratic Committee for their first official meeting!
The Comms Subcommittee, under direction of the Communications Director, will oversee all communications efforts with the goals of spreading our messaging, expanding our membership, and raising funds.
During this first meeting, we will be setting expectations and reviewing a strategic communications plan.
